Once an original flower-child, now mellow and proud Mom and G'Ma of 4 boys and 1 beautiful little girl. What matters are my faith & family, my friends & community.
My interests include creative writing, horticulture, reading & live music - esp. PassionFish (my younger son's band) and other of our talented local and regional musicians!
Family - I'm blessed with loving, talented sons and dtrs-in-law who are so hard-working and are great parents to my awesome grandkids.
I'm eldest in our family of Sicilian origin with a half-brother and two half-sisters who live out of state with their families. I have one first-cousin in StL area who's more like a brother. He's also an author and psychologist.
Friends - Lifelong friends I've known for decades and making new friends I hope to know for years to come!
Community - Active in my Parish, Art Guild and American Legion Aux.
I enjoy living in the oldest settlement west of the Mississippi River. There's a lot of history and whimsy nestled between the great river and rolling ozark foothills, about an south of my hometown (STL, MO).
The Church of Ste. Genevieve is celebrating the 250-th year of it's founding. The town itself was "officially" settled in 1735 by french-colonials and features the most number of buildings from that era in the US.
