Kissing the Blue Lady are Danielle Rigden and Keshia Kiely. Danielle and Keshia have known each other for 19 years, but it has been recently that they decided to embark on a long distance musical endeavour. Keshia resides in Brisbane while Danielle has been living on the Central Queensland Coast for the past 3 years. Keshia, who originally studied classical cello at University of Queensland , branched out to a more folk/acoustic genre with her cello, voice and guitar. Not only does keshia have an "angelically pure voice," but she compliments that with her "brilliant lyrics." Keshia is able to convey her message musically, in a clever but precise way. keshia has worked with various artists in the industry such as dj tydi, dragonfly and phunk shui.Danielle embraced the solitude and isolation not normally associated with life in her previous abode’s of Sydney and Brisbane. Away from the distractions of the music ‘scene’, Danielle has written a series of songs that can only be described as breathtakingly beautiful. Together, when they sing, they paint ‘tableau vivant’ - living pictures of their experiences. The collaboration of these two unique beings has resulted in a beautiful and distinctive expression. It has taken sometime... but they are soon to release their debut album.
