Nothing in this world comes easy. I have learned that time and time again. I feel that throughout my life, I've always found something to complain about, I've always thought something was always wrong and messing things up for me. I never stopped to look around. It was always myself that was holding me back. I never saw change as opportunity. Granted, I've experienced my share of change. Moving halfway across the country every five seconds hasn't helped me, but I've gained so much knowledge and experience. I can only look at it now as lessons in life, and experiences that I will never forget. I'll admit that I used to be such a selfish and pompous person. I took all the "hardships" that I felt I had endured and held them against the world. And I plowed over anything that got in the way of what I wanted. I didn't care who I hurt, as long as I got what I wanted. I've hurt so many people along the way. Friends and family also. If I could take it back I would, but I can't dwell in the past. I can only learn from my mistakes and make a positive change. Which is what I've done. Life has so much meaning now. Every day is important and I try to make it worth while. I try and live each day with a smile so wide on my face. I owe so much of this change and "inspiration" to Eddie. I know it's so cliche to say that your significant other has "made you a better person," but I mean it with all of my heart when I say it. It's all smiles and laughs from here on out. Because,now, I can honestly say that I'm so happy and blissful. Life is good ya`ll.
