I am a seasoned brother who loves to live life and I am looking for friends who are open and willing to enjoy life to the extent their personality allows.
The trait that captures my attention is the ability of another prospective friend to enjoy life and not get caught up in pettiness emanating from improperly thought out liaisons.
In our free time, my ideal match for friendship and I would go out to dinner, check out a play, visit our churches and enjoy a ride to the country and talk. As a member of Shield of Faith Ministries International in Detroit, MI, I live to serve God and His people through following the vision of the Pastor, Dr. James Jennings, Jr. to carve out a mecca of Christ centered excellence in life.
The personality that makes me unique is my interest in Model Railroading and my desire to help people live full lives for Christ.
I would best describe my lifestyle as very gregarious and outgoing with a willingness to listen to others.
My main goals in life are helping family and others succeed through the transforming power of Jesus Christ and ensuring in the process I am fit to contribute meaningfully to society.
I believe that the development of friendship and the relationships that evolve from them is a noble and blessed quest. I have never taken it for granted and over my life I recognize it, like all else in life, is full of change. Clearly as I have matured and settled as others have into a given lifestyle, the establishment of sincere friendship and relationships becomes more challenged, but the quest continues.
As I have run the path of increasing wisdom in this life that God has given me and have been afforded a chance to look at that life more realistically, I have come to accept the change in my life as a good omen. Regarding this change, I often rely on the analogy of a chameleon whose constant change in appearance is meant for good and serves to protect and attract.
Hence, I certainly am open to exploring the possibilities of friendship, camaraderie and the greater relationships that God has blessed us with to the extent our individual lives are open to receive the blessing.
