I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

I'd like to think I'm a pretty laid back guy, and I like doing whatever makes me happy on any given day. Some days I might just relax in front of the tv in a pair of pajama pants, and other days you might find me laying by the pool with a couple of friends. I listen to a somewhat eclectic selection of music, and I love to sing. I'm also into movies, and I think being an actor would be the greatest job ever. Think about it -- For 6 months you might be a pirate, then, a couple of months later, you're an astronaut, then you're working for the CIA. I think that'd be absolutely amazing.
I tend to be pretty opinionated, but I can usually defend my ideas pretty well in a debate. You might think I'm crazy, but give me a chance to explain myself. I just might open your eyes a bit.
I really enjoy stand-up comedy, and I think being a comic would be awesome. Imagine the joy and satisfaction you could achieve by helping people forget their troubles for a while and just laugh.
I'd really like to learn how to dance. I took a latin/swing/ballroom class in college, but how often can you really use that skill set? I want to be able to just dance "regularly" if you know what I mean.
My ambitions change pretty frequently. I'm still not sure what I want to do with my life. I've got a college degree and a job and whatnot, but I'm not yet satisfied. I yearn for something different, but I don't yet know what that something is.
I enjoy stepping back and looking at things differently -- trying to see every day activities from a different perspective. I often find myself wondering how I would react to a particular situation if I were the first person to ever experience it. Why do we do the things we do the way we do them? Can anything be gained by doing them differently? These are the thoughts that plague my mind.
"Amateurs work until they get it right. Professionals work until they can't get it wrong."

My Interests

I like relaxing, hanging out with friends, getting a drink now and again, listening to music, singing, watching movies, reading a good book, hockey, baseball, football, meeting new people, starting new friendships, getting away from life for a while, coming back, looking at things differently, making people laugh and smile. I like having fun, and acting impulsively. I like being that guy that makes you think.

Disgruntor!

My dad, too. He worked like a dog when my brother and I were growing up so that we could have the things we wanted. I never really appreciated that sort of thing until I had to be a grown-up and handle money and bills and responsibility. Thanks, dad.
