My name is Cy Young A.K.A. Infra Red, you see my government name on the big screen credits as Michael Miller. I'm an actor/producer/rap artist. I also design graphics for web and print. Cy G.E.T.I.T. is an acronym for C (see) Y (why) Get Everyone Together Its Time. And what I mean by that is, at this point in history we have to open our eyes and see what is going on around us, from the corridors of power to the streets in ghetto blocks all the way to the so called 3rd world (the resourceful world). We are intricately connected in a system that has no regard for human life. Complaining and even protesting seems to do very little or nothing in fact it actually praises the people in power who benefit from this system but peaceful resistance is necessary (catch 22).
This is my first step toward doing something, I'm just gonna get it, whatever, money, power influence anything. But the most important thing is knowledge, deep knowledge you won't find on cable or in schools, the knowledge that's hidden so we stay divided snatching crumbs while we bake cakes for naked emperors.
I've been acting for 10 years you may have seen me in Get Rich or Die trying (dangerous) or playmakers (tyree). I'm still on the humble, even though millions of people have seen my face most of them wouldn't remember me. But now its time to utilize all my skills to really come up. When I make my music I'll keep it personal, I won't preach cause I ain't perfect. But the connection between all of is so close, you'll hear and see the politics in my work cause you've been through it or know it yourself.
