..Stonebreaker

Formed in late April 2005, Stonebreaker is the grinding bastard child of
four guys wanting to write some blues based rock. Taking our influences from
acts such as Clutch, Five Horse Johnson, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
The original line-up was conceived from the ashes of Nomme Louis, eventually
coming together with Matt D (bass + vocals), Dave Lyon (drums) and Matt G
(guitars).
After a few failed jams with the line-up, we welcomed Gary Smith into the fold
on drums, thickening up the whole feel and taking the band in a more
groove-orientated direction. Dave then moved onto bass leaving Matt with just
the vocal duties.
After several gigs Stonebreaker parted ways with Gary Smith and Welcomed
Danny Curtis into the band on Drums. A New cd is now on it's way, and more gigs
soon to follow.
