About Me

I studied in London for a semester and it was the best decision i have ever made. I'm a self proclaimed geek and enjoy technology and its many uses. I want to travel to beautiful places and see things only previously seen in textbooks. I have a long list of things i want to accomplish and would like nothing better that to check them all off as soon as possible. Live music is a huge part of my life- i support musicians and see a lot of live music. As a result, im quite active, outgoing, enthusiastic. I discovered the concept of Saudade and am fascinated by it. I pour a lot of time into my blog Audio Taco where i talk about bands that i like, new records, and the concerts that i go to.Im really geeky and random random and i like it.Ernst Cassirer basically describes everything i love with his quote, "Art gives us the motions of the human soul in all their depth and variety. But the form, the measure and rhythm, of these motions is not comparable to any single state of emotion. What we feel in art is not a simple or single emotional quality. It is the dynamic process of life itself."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Like minds who are intelligent, open, and accepting. Comprehend the beauty around you and see the hope it brings. when i say i like music, its an understatement. i love it and the people that create it. im in love with the moments before, during and after the shows where for a short time, you feel like you're floating on the highest clouds along with everyone in the room. the pure exhileration of the moment- it makes me feel deeper than anything ive ever experienced. to feel someone else, even for a moment is magnificent. im a fool for the slow and depressing songs, melodies that soar, and honesty in music that pierce your very being. Art makes the world a better place to be.people that are witty, make puns (or laugh at them), like music as much as i do, read books, and go to geek conventions. Kareoke performers are a welcome addition. You can usually catch me singing some 80s tune (i get really into "summer of 69" and anything Queen or Bon Jovi.emily haines, chris corner, the knife, carsten holler, banksy, the guys from mythbusters and people that have great taste in music!I also write for a blog called Audio Taco
