About Me

Well Jeff Frank and I (Anthony Scarfuto) have known eachother since we were small kids. We both had a major interest in alternative and independent rock music from the begining of our friendship, so it was only natural that we would eventually pick up our instruments and start our own brand of music. Our new music project quaintly titled "Almost Home" is focused on mainly getting back to the basics of what it is to be a singer/songwriter. We began getting serious about our music around April '07. Jeff writes the soothing/melodic acoustic riffs you probably will hear while viewing this profile and also helps me to write the lyrics to the songs. I base most of my writing on my life experience's. Mostly I enjoy writing about what bothers me in life so the lyrics sometimes get extremely emotional. I like to keep the concept of the song universal to understand but I still try to maintain perspective to the detail of who or what I'm writing about. Most of the lyrics are based on past relationships with girls that went wrong so if you can relate to that......I'm pretty sure you can understand where we are coming from. We're still very up and coming right now....and there are alot of people we would like to at least try to expose to our brand of rock to so if you like it, let us know and we'll try to get our music to you in some way or another. Thanks for checking us out and have a great day.
