HURLEY
I'm a greyhound. I was born in New Hampshire.
I was in a
lot of races. Want to see my records? They're here .
Mom and Dad came to visit me one day when I was at Greyhound Angels,
and then the next day they came back, and brought me home. I love my
new home and my Mom and Dad. They taught me all kinds of stuff, like
how to jump on a bed, how to climb stairs, and how to play with toys. I
couldn't be happier here.
JASPER
I'm a cat.
My current dad, Chris, is my third dad. But he's the best one I've had so far. Dad had Jesse first. Mom had Acorn. Then Mom and Dad had each other. Then they brought me in. I like living with everyone. Jesse and I were buddies. We never fought. When he left us, I was sad. But then we got Hurley, and I like him just as much. We sleep together and love each other.
I'm a cancer survivor - that's what happened to my eye. I also have a bad leg, from my time on the streets.
I'm not overweight; I'm all cat.
ACORN
I'm a cat.
I've lived with Mom since 1996. I was her first pet that was all hers. She named me Acorn because she loves squirrels. I LOVE Mom. She is the best. I kind of like Chris, but not like Mom.
I tolerate Jasper. Sometimes we fight, but mostly we play. We share food and everything; we're kind of friends. I still don't like Hurley all that much. He doesn't get it, though. I keep hitting him to show him, but...
I have to wear Soft Paws because if I don't, I might hurt Hurley and Jasper. Mom says Soft Paws are great...check them out at http://www.softpaws.com/.JESSE - Our Angel at the Bridge
We created this page for Jesse first. Since then, he has gone to the bridge. Jesse was our sweet boy for 12 years. We will always love him. We are leaving his information here as a tribute to him.

I'm a greyhound.
I was born in Iowa. People there probably know me by my racing name, Dgs. Golden Boy (77D-66910). Click here to see his data
I lived on the track for 18 months. That was a rough time of my life. I had to live in a small crate which rubbed all of the fur off of my butt. I wasn't allowed to sit, and if I did, I got shocked. So I don't ever sit now.
I wasn't a very good racer. I really tried, but the best I ever did was 5th place. They were talking about sending me away from the track. I was really sad.
Then Chris rescued me one day, in Illinois. He gave me a comfy bed and a really pretty collar. He taught me to walk up stairs and to not walk into sliding glass doors. He and I have been best friends since.
He used to live with some other woman; I don't really remember her. Then we moved to Pennsylvania. A few years ago Chris met Erin. I didn't like her at first; mainly because she was taking up the space on the bed that I used to have. But then I started to love her, too.
Pretty soon Chris got Jasper, then we all moved in together with Erin's cat, Acorn.
We're pretty happy. Recently I was really sick from the tainted dog food. I almost died. But I feel better now!
