About Me

WHO NEEDS GEORGE FOREMAN WHEN YOU'VE GOT

The Duke Spirit- The Step and the Walk
Clutch- Profits of Doom
Seaweed- Kid Candy
Quicksand-Dine Alone
Some call me Jake, others call me Al. I've also been known as Jeremy Emch for the better part of 31 years, sometimes...here and there.
I've been busy the last few months, so I apologize for being somewhat of a recluse lately. I have taken my sole-proprietorship to the next level. I've joined forces with a software developer co-worker, and we've now started Pivotal Horizon Design Studio, LLC. We've got a number of big projects in the works, and we're really excited at the future prospects. Some projects have already made the local news, which was a shock, but really cool at the same time.
My wife Carissa and my daughter Lily continue to be amazing. Carissa keeps me grounded, while at the same time being supportive when my creative head likes to float away on adventures.
Lily turned one year old on March 9th, and she amazes me every day. She's been walking and dancing for some time now , and now she's doing it all over the house...shaking her little booty, waving her arms and singing to her favorite children's songwriter, Laurie Berkner.
I am constantly in awe at the amount of things my little girl does already.

My stream of conscience...

Seated at the table and shivering, she went into the kitchen to get her tarts, buttered and creamy. Bending lower with set teeth, then, as if ashamed of a little outburst earlier that day, rapping on ...
