Depuis 1999, le MEG Montréal est la fois un festival et une dynamique d'action qui vise le développement et la structuration d'un réseau international de diffusion de la scène des musiques urbaines et émergentes porteuse de multiples courants (punk, hip hop, jazz, etc.). Dans le cadre de cet évènement, sur une période de quatre jours, le MEG Montréal présente sur différents plateaux des artistes canadiens (principalement montréalais), français et d'autres nationalités issus de l'univers des musiques urbaines et émergentes révélant au grand public ce qui était du monde de l'underground il y a peu de temps.
Since 1999, MEG Montréal is a festival and a working scheme that aims at developing and structuring an international distribution network of the urban and emerging music scene, bearer of multiple trends in music (punk, hip hop, jazz, etc.). In this event which spread on a four day period, MEG Montréal uses multiple platforms to presents canadian (mostly from Montréal), french and international artists that are just coming out of the underground scene to the masses.Programmation à paraître en mai!

L’agence MEG Tour: Le son du MEG à l'international!
Le Festival MEG Montréal est fier de vous présenter sa nouvelle agence artistique internationale!
Après 11 années passées à faire la promotion d'artistes québécois, canadiens, américains et européens dans le cadre de son festival, le MEG Montréal structure son organisation afin d'y ajouter une agence de booking d'artistes. Par le passé, les MEG Tours ont permis à plusieurs artistes québécois et européens de se produire à Mexico, Barcelone, Londres, Paris... Ces initiatives répétées ont fini par demander la création d'une unité distincte du festival. Les MEG Tours seront tissés d'alliances que le MEG Montréal continuera d'établir avec des festivals et des diffuseurs en salles de l'étranger. Cette toile, qui ne cesse de s'étendre d'année en année, traversera océans et continents pour assurer le développement professionnel des artistes d'ici ou d'ailleurs représentés par le MEG Montréal.

MEG Tour Agency : MEG sound at an international level!
The MEG Montréal Festival is proud to present its new international artistic agency!
After 11 years of promoting Québécois, Canadian, American and European artists during its festival, MEG Montréal structures its organisation in order to add an international booking agency. In the past, the MEG Tours allowed many Québécois and European artists to perform in Mexico, Barcelona, London, Paris… These repeated initiatives needed the creation of a distinct unit in the festival’s organisation. The MEG Tours will thread alliances that the MEG Montréal will continue on establishing yearly with festivals and venues around the world to cross oceans and continents to insure the professional development of MEG Montréal represented artists from here or abroad.
