His name is Gotti. He was given the name when he was younger for his behavior and tatics. Throughout the years his manners and the way he carries himself have changed dramatically for the better.
Gotti is goal oriented and has dedicated his personal time and effort towards helping others that have been in the same situation. Not only did he finish his degree program and works for a Institute of Higher Learning, he also helps out around the community.
Gotti still uses his nickname as his stage name. Gotti aka G.O.T.T.I stands for (G)od (O)ffers (T)alents (T)o (I)divduals . That is a clever Acronym he created himself and likes to prove the fact that God has blessed him with a rhyme scheme and plans on using it for the better.
His music background started long ago when he would freestyle at parties and bars as a hobby. After much recognition he recieved over the years he decided to get serious with his hobby and took it a step further completing his first solo album enititled "Making A Statement!!" which he sold over 1,000 copies. The Solo CD is an open statement about his life, his loves, his hates, good times and bad. All his work comes stright from the heart and doesnt put sugar coating on any of his work.
He is currently working on a couple of solo projects as well as doing preformances. He Still represents his family Young Royalty out of the Chicago land area. For those that don't know... Gotti is always looks foward to colabing with other artists no matter the genre, he feels that music is always evolving and wants to be part of this progress.
While alot of artist do music to get paid, Gotti mearly enjoys knowing that he has either influenced someone, or has brought forth a messege. He is also known for writing poems, and has won awards accordingly.
Gotti would also like to stress out the point that he is like anyone else with talent, he is an everyday human being and puts on his pants one leg at a time like the rest of us. He doesn't believe that celeberties should be so praised and held to such a high quota that none of us can acheive. "All of us have potential to be great at what ever it is that we are great at.
