Me llamo Javier Alcalde. Hace unos años fundé un grupo llamado Arcanda, con el que publiqué un disco en una discográfica local de mi ciudad (Zaragoza). Desde entonces, la palabra "Arcanda" define mi universo musical. Acabo de editar un autoproducido, llamado "Esta es la noche". Me gusta cantar en inglés y en español, en casi cualquier estilo (aunque rock, pop, blues, jazz, funk, folk y bossa son mis favoritos), usando distintas sonoridades, e intentado escribir letras que hagan reflexionar. Los instrumentos en los que me encuentro más cómodo tocando son las guitarras (española, acústica y eléctrica) y el bajo, aunque hago mis pinitos con algunos otros también. No sé si la música nos hace mejores personas, pero estoy seguro de que es parte de lo que nos hace personas.
----------------------------------------My name is Javier Alcalde. Some years ago, I founded a band called Arcanda, and I recorded an album for a local company in my city (Zaragoza). From then, the word "Arcanda" defines my musical work. I have just published a self-produced album called "Esta es la noche" ("This is the night").
