I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I am one unique individual. I am more complicated than can be put into appropriate terms, but also simple in a lot of ways. I am passionate and curious. I am driven and assertive, but also compassionate and open minded. I am very opinionated, but respectful of others' opinions. I am very honest, sometimes to the limit of being brutal. I ask the same courtesy in return. I have nothing to hide, and a lot to say. I'm a girl who knows what she wants from life, and I won't let others drag me down. Anything else to be told can certainly be asked. I have nothing to hide.I am a full-time student, double majoring in psychology and philosophy. I also work part-time as an executive assistant, volunteer as an advocate for a crisis line, and have an unpaid internship with a seasoned psychology professor at Portland State University. Most of my free time is spent doing schoolwork, at the gym, or trying to maintain social connections. I make time for fun as well, what would life be without it?

My Interests

Reading, writing, poetry. Biking, hiking, camping, boating, fishing, kayaking, rafting. Opera, ballet, theatre, other fine arts. Sports (to play, not to watch). Philosophical and/or religious conversations with people I know and strangers alike. Art, contemporary abstract (mostly). CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), basics of quantum physics. Many more interests, but these are the ones I can think of right now.

I'd like to meet:

Angelina Jolie. I'd do her, without hesitation. If I could spend one day with anyone in the history of humankind, I would like it to be one of the great philosophers Socrates, Plato or Aristotle.**If you try to add me without even making an attempt to email me and try to get to know SOMETHING about me, or vice versa, I will deny you. I don't make a habit of accepting people I don't know.** Did that sound bitchy? Sorry!

Music:

Anything, with the exception of polka. Seriously.

Movies:

Any movie is worth a chance if the story involved can elude me from this real world we live in, or teach me something valuable.

Television:

I don't make a habit of watching television on a regular basis.

Books:

Any literary piece that draws me in within the first few chapters is worth reading to me. I believe books are underrated.

Heroes:

I am my own hero. No, really.
