I was born in Palermo in 1972 and I started singing and playing acoustic guitar and bass guitar in various cover band in Palermo since I was 17. Paper Boys with Luciano Bianchini (leading vocal and acoustic guitar) and my brother Roberto Leto (vocal and electric guitar), me (vocal and bass guitar), Andrea Branciforti (Drums), Marco Maraschi (piano and keyboards) and the precious support of Andrea Le Moli (sound engineering) was one of the most important and the last one. It was 1996, I was 24 and we were really fond of Rock’n’Roll and films about fifties and sixties. Our live performances were full of energy. I also really love flamenco. I studied flamenco guitar with Paolo Canola and basics of harmony with Emiliano Turazzi at CPSM in Milan in the years between 2001 and 2003. Back to Palermo in 2003 I started studying vocal performing with Miriam Palma for 5 years and butoh with Sayoko Onishi for 2 years. In 2004 I took part to the international workshop "Dove il Teatro Danza" directed by Cristina Castrillo and Bruna Gusberti at "Teatro delle Radici " in Lugano. Since 2004 I attended a 2 years butoh course with Sayoko Onishi, and Butoh dance classes with Yoshito Ono and Marie Gabrielle Rotie. I receiving a first level butoh diploma on 2006 from "International Butoh Academy" of Palermo now "New Butoh School". I took part to many theatrical performances as a singer, performer, butoh dancer and composer: "Gli Angeli" by Sayoko Onishi (I Candelai 2005), "La Primavera Siciliana" by Sayoko Onishi, Fiore dentro l’acqua by C.Burgio (Ass. Circolare 2006, Quarta Parete 2006, Ex-Carcere 2006, Zeta-Lab 2007), "Caterina la Sapiente" by Miriam Palma" (Biblioteca Comunale 2006), "Il Papireto - L’anima liquida della città " by Miriam Palma and Lina Prosa (Centro Amazzone - 2006 - Associazione Acqua Liquida 2007), "Stele di Sicilo" by Anna Sica and Sayoko Onishi (Teatro Nuovo 2007), "Magnificat" by Sayoko Onishi, "Studio sul Guerrin Meschino di Gesualdo Bufalino" di Miriam Palma (EXPA 2007, Biblioteca Comunale - Palermo, Ass.Acqua Liquida, Palermo, Milo - Catania, Castello dei Conti di Modica - Alcamo - Trapani - 2008). In 2006-07 I led a class of music creation for butoh performance at DIM (University of Palermo). My concrete music has been included also in the documentary about butoh dance "La Primavera Siciliana" by Paola Esposito, and in the short movie "Dollface" by Jon Springer. Since May 2008 I am theatre editor on www.succoacido.net. I worked, as music, sound and video director, to "La Gattoparda" a Miriam Palma and Lina Prosa theatre project and "Magnificat 2" a butoh performance by Sayoko Onishi and I keep on performing in "Guerrin Meschino" by Miriam Palma and "Il pranzo dei miracoli" by Amalia Salemme, and moving chinese shadows with the master of puppets Elisabetta Giacone in Miriam Palma's show about wind "Vento Soffia piu' Forte" (Festivale Energie alternative - Gibellina 2007 -Gibellina 2008).
