Kristan Mallory is the rhythm guitarist for the rock and roll outfit EndeverafteR; has toured 4 countries and has graced the stage with the likes of KISS, Poison, Cinderella, Steve Vai, Sebastian Bach, Skid Row, Vincie Neil, Godsmack, Fuel, Saving Abel and Shine Down just to name a few.
I recently spoke with Kristan about his new venture in song writing
WC: Was it a difficult transition to go from the very definite rock and roll of EndeverafteR to what you've done with your solo work as in "It'll Be Okay" for instance?
KM: "I think that it was a really natural progression for me, EndeverafteR is the best band a guy could ask to be a part of, and as in being a member of EndeverafteR, I pride myself in the ability to be flexible and draw influence from every genre of music i can get my grubby hands on. I've always admired the song-writers, your Zeppelins your Beatles, Pumpkins, Jeff Buckley, that had such a wide range of songs in one album. That to me, really showcased the strength of the writer and the band."
