Born in Recife (PE) Brazil, Wander Vieira has always been driven to music. As a teenager, he started to play the guitar in the local bands. But that was not enough to his inner-daring personality, so the desire to develop his talent led him to study at the University of Music and improve his ability as a performer, composer, and music theoretical, most of the time as a self tutor.The combination among discipline, good musical theory, and rich creativity has led Wander Vieira to develop the WV Technique, an innovation that has resulted in a full understanding of the guitar, increasing his possibility to perform, to improvise, and to compose. As a result of this technique, it is now possible to improvise in all twelve tonalities and all Greek modes in each one of these twelve key signatures being melodic, polyphonic or harmonic improvisation.This means a revolutionary method that can be applied not only to the guitar, as well as to other plucked instruments and probably transposed to strings family instruments such as violin, cello and so on. The WV Technique has call attention from several important names in the wide world music.
