I am a brazilian girl...Heheheh. It become a "cliche" to be a brazilian girl. We become some kind of "divas", everywhere ppl admire us, I think is our capacity to be smart, beautiful and cool all at the same time....I design clothes, swimwear and handbags. I have worked within the clothing industry since I was 16. The only thing i havent designed yet is shoes and jewelry. My first job was selling biquinis in a shop in Ipanema called "Cia do Corpo", galeria 580,Visconde de Pirajá. When theres no clients we have to roll loads of biquinis.I am still expert on it!! At the moment I am still working as a freelancer designer for female clothes and swimwear. Cant see myself working in other field. Its on my veins! My father use to have a shop in Copacabana, in the 70´s called "Só calças", wich means "Only pants". He used to sell really only pants, during this time "pants" become the key piece of garment construction. Ppl all wanted the "hippie-style" look,jeans pants. And my father sold a lot of them! He also worked representing leather for all over Brasil.So,I got this thing from him. From my mother that has native brazilian indian background, I am still learning to put spirituality before everything. She believes that any award in life comes when you are in harmony with God. She is right. I am very into "business thinking" lately.I need to be some more spiritual.Im glad I can balance it. Well,its all because of my dream! This is one of the reasons I am here in My space. I also like to listen to new stuff and meet cool ppl but I am here more to find a Business Partner for a "beach style" clothing line for young sofisticated women.
I have travelled to someplaces around the world but end up back to life in Rio...I love this place. I lived in Manly- Sydney, and its place I love too as all the northern beaches area. Avalon, Narrabeen, Dee Why... pretty cool places, lots of handsomes! Good pubs and great unknown bands! I enjoy the outdoors, if i could i would travel every weekend. Theres lots of nice little beaches around Rio, little country cities with waterfalls.
I love meeting ppl but sometimes i trust too much and got hurted.But its ok, as a gemini person i forgot and forgive things easily!Heh. I´d like to share interestes with others designers about trends, drawing techniques and ilustration, patterns, books and classes, fashion in general, business,visual merchandising,styling, surfing and beach culture; christianity and religions. I am open to cool things in general. I love interchanging ideas and learn diff cultures. I speak spanish as well. I would love to go to Barcelona one day! I heard its an amazing place for fashion.
Thanks my mother I´ve been experienced the brzlian native Xavante baptism when I was 8 yrs old. I had my hair cut just like theirs! It was cool. I am very proud of it. Save native cultures. Ual...I wrote a lot...God bless us all.
