Eastwick

About Me

Eastwick was born in the first half of the eighties and raised by the windy west coast of Norway. During his adolescence music became of more and more importance to him as the years went by. Finally, during the winter 2000 and spring 2001, the first Eastwick songs was penned down. Still it would take him a couple of years before his music were recorded onto tape.
After teaming up with a friend, who would also co-write their music, Souls of Toast saw the light of day at the end of 2002. This collaboration lastet until the summer of 2003 when Eastwick decided to concentrate on his own solo efforts.
Before the end of 2004 a complete demo album, simply named "Eastwick", were recorded, mixed and compiled by Eastwick himself. The album content spanned over a great variety of genres. Eastwick showed that his eager to find new ways of expressing himself and finding new influences, really paid off in form of good tunes that really could reach out to people in spite of the lyrical content.
Being influenced by rock, country and singer/songwriter artists, Eastwick have the abilty to write all kinds of music and certainly have built himself a way with words.
All recordings are basic homerecordings.
Eastwick is also a part of the countryduo Sound + Vision , you can hear their musichere on myspace.
