TODD: It all started for me when I was in grade school...I had just went from first grade to third grade(yeah, I skipped the second grade!) and got to see the instrument that I would fall in love with, the bass...but alas, my music teacher,Mrs. Kelder told me that there was already a bass player in the orchestra, so I ended up playing the cello...cool, but not quite the bass! I would end up playing the cello throughout my school years...and when I was in sixth grade I decided I wanted to play the trumpet also...I wanted to be able to play in the school band as well as the "dorkestra" as some of my classmates called it...but once again,I choose the wrong instrument at the wrong time...and I ended up playing the trombone instead! Oh well...So once I got into my teens I started teaching myself the guitar, which lead to learning to play the bass and finally doing what I wanted to do! I have played in numerous bands since I was 17...and at age 40-something, I still love all music!!! I now do studio production and playing, and enjoy the freedom that comes with it! And of course there is joy in performing live once in a while!
BRIAN: After seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in ’64, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I honed my guitar chops of playing the clubs and bars in the NY Metro Area for over 25 years. Starting with a Fostex 4 track cassette machine I began developing my recording skills. Now, with my Pro Tools system, Todd and I have a limitless pallette of sounds to work with. With the advent of the Internet, distributing our music worldwide is a daily reality. We have such respect for all types of music that you’ll never know what to expect from us.
