SHEPARD Founder • Musical Director • Bass Player • Recording ArtistShepard was born in San Francisco, CA and now resides in Oakland, CA. Shepard grew up in a musical family. By the age of ten his father gave him his first bass guitar and by the time he was sixteen, he was playing professionally in the San Francisco Bay Area. Humble, hardworking and driven is what best describes this young man. his leadership skills have enabled him to lead The Eleventh Commandment band successfully for the past seven years on national and international tours. His musical inspirational are Virdeen (Earth, Wind and Fire), Rocco (Tower of Power), and Larry Graham. While inspired by these artists, Shepard has developed his own unique, soulful, funky formula that consistently lays funk grooves to the foundation of his music, which is the contributing backbone to his group, The Eleventh Commandment.Shepard has shared the stage with many prominent figures in the entertainment industry such as: Ron Thompson, Johnny Harrison, Mick Fleetwood, Eugene Blackwell, Regina Belle, Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire, Morris Day and the Time, Lakeside, John Lee Hooker, James Brown, Charlie Musselwhite, Keith Haines (Double Vision), John Blackwell (Prince), Dee Simons (TLC), Toni Braxton, Silk, The Braxtons, Maurice Otey, Escape, Keith Sweat, James Levi and Paul Jackson (The Herbie Hancock Sextet) and Credence Clearwater Revival.For several years Shepard was the the bass player for the Sklopps Blues Band and Herbie Hebert, former manager of Grammy Award winner Carlo Santana and platinum recording artist journey.Shepard has played on several recordings with such artists as loonies, Pumanm, Scarface, Ron Thompson, Johnny Harrison, Sklopps Blues Band and The Eleventh Commandment. He also has appeared on Hungarian, French, Japanese, Chinese and Canadian television.His phenomenal appeal and aura on stage is alluring and demands your attention. Shepard brings to the music industry a myriad of talent and he won't stop until the mission is complete, which is putting the band on the map. He is an accomplished musician an songwriter. Worth, TX, and she began her musical journey singing in church in Oakland, CA. This multi-talented lady has the ability to sing, dance and write.Tambora studied under the tutelage of Faye Beverly, the late Phil Reeder, and world renowned vocal coach, the late Judy Davis, and has been successful in expressing various genres of music including: Jazz, Soul (traditional and contemporary), gospel, Rhythm and Blues, Funk and popular music.At an early age Tambora entered into the professional world of music. She is an accomplished singer and vocal coach. Studying your craft with her you will be able to unleash your potential as a singer and discover your true vocal talent. Her proven concepts and exercises consist of Phonetics, Placement, Breathing, Discipline and basic musicianship. Tambora has guided many singers toward vocal success, showmanship and artist development.As a professional singer Tambora has entertained audiences in the U.S.A. and overseas. She has become one of the most sought after performers, with a vocal style and technique that has placed her among the elite female entertainers (live/session) in the San Francisco Bay Area.Currently, Tambora fronts her band, The Eleventh Commandment, which she co-writes with partner Shepard, bassist and founder of the band. They have written much original music together and have traveled all over the world performing to audiences from every background and culture!This soulful, funky unit has opened up for several prominent figures in the entertainment industry such as: Regina Belle, Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire, Morris Day and the Time, Lakeside, Al Green, and the Whispers. San Francisco Music Fair by the National Academy of Recording Artists and Sciences, University of California, Berkeley, CA, The United Negro College Fund, Meritorious Service, Stand ford university, Unity Day.Tambora for several years has been the female singer for Wall Street Corporate Band, performing for clients such as: Universal Studios, Oakland A's, Warner Brothers, Sausalito Art Festival, Mac World, Marin County Fair, San Francisco Symphony, KRON-TC, Marin Symphony, Hyatt Regency, Sonoma County Fair, Oracle, Southern Wine and Spirits, and many weddings.Tambora and her partner, co-founder of The Eleventh Commandment have just returned to the U.S. after performing in Shanghai, China since January 2004.Tambora credits God, Family, and Music (in that order) for keeping her anchored, sustained, and balanced.
