I grew up in Chicago, went to school in Minneapolis and am now based out of Eau Claire, WI. I live to create. I Paint what I feel. I create sculpture from garbage and steel. I draw caricatures, paint murals and cars, screen print, design work, posters and shirts. In the winter time My team the "Starvin' Carvists" and I build snow sculptures. I create and organize public art projects. Playing music is a passionate hobby. I like going for walks in the woods and discovering tiny new worlds . My children are a blessing. They remind me to be patient compassionate and loving and that we could always learn more. I'm inspired by the congestion of life, the questions that we have and answers, that we may not want. I try to make sense of life by creating art. Visual emotional involvement is some thing that gets lost in Texts and Instant messages. Living life fully and experiencing art and live music is something I enjoy. Creating Art is learning to play again and allowing the world and the people you interact with to teach you something. I like a good bath but, I'd rather take a rain shower. I like to stay active. I'll bike, walk, climb, kayak, canoe, swim, ski, build something rather then go to a gym. I enjoy going to live music, plays, performances,festivals and visiting art museums and studios. It's not where you are or what you do but who you're with, that makes all the difference.
