About Me
Eric Lemon was raised in Jamaica, New York where he began studying the electric bass. Following the funk and R&B bands, he led a group called Dramatic Funk from 1974-1977. The group performed at concerts, at local clubs and at battle of the band events.
Education. He attended York College in 1979 to study double bass with Dr. Dennis Moorman and Cecil McBee. He also studied unders Dave Jackson and Bob C. Cunningham and Jules Hircsh.
Bachelor Degree Music Performance at Long Island University-1998.
Eric began work with Gloria Lynee Trio, Harlem renaissance Band, Harper Bros, Roy Hargrove, Maxienne Sullilvan, James Spaulding, Lou Donaldson, Benny Powell, Jimmy Heath, Vanessa Rubin, Jacky Byard, Panama Francis, Negro Ensemble Co, Danny Mixon Trio and many free lancing performing duties.
