Hey well, i am married. and just gave birth june 7th 2007 to my first child, a wonderful baby boy named carter. unfortunatly things were not handled as they should have been during labor and my son is suffering injuries due to low oxygen during labor. he is in and out of the hospital for doctors appointments and tests all the time it is about and hour and 45 minutes from where i live,. He is now undergoing treatment for his seizures they are so awful to watch i hope no one ever has to expierence watching their child or someone else have one.... he has apnea he just stops breathing when sleeping or awake., brain damage to his corpus collasum and has to be fed through a feeding tube he is very flacid and has been diagnised with hypotonia (low muscle tone)he is now showing signs of hypertonia so he ha s mixed tone is very at risk for cerebal palsy. he has physicaltherapy occupational therapy and speech 3x a week it used ot be more but he just couldnt handle it, i work with him everyday. he is sdoing what a 7-8month old does physically and he is now 14 almost 15 months old. he sees a variety of doctors and we are constantly at the hosital with him. he is a great child and has gone through more than most adults i know. please pray for my angel.. here is a movie about him. his website is www.helpcarter.org and he has a myspace. caring for carter.
