Okay, im just going to have a rant. Basically...about 2 or 3 months ago Bekka and I messaged Tim asking him if he'd be willing to help us out by doing an Interview. he kindly agreed.
Since then, SO many sites have started taking this idea from us. Its great that Tim is willing to help and im sure we are all incredibly grateful, But come on guys...get your own ideas and stop stealing others!!
Bekka and I spent a long time sorting the interview out, and its ignorant of you all just to decide to do this yourself.
Its a fact. Any after the first interview will never be as good. This isnt a dig at anybody or the owners of fansites themselves. But you have to understand our annoyance. Something that WAS exclusive to our site..is no longer exclusive at all and the novelty of it isnt there anymore.
So thanks... we know not to share any great ideas with you because you'll just take them for yourselves :)

Tim McCord Interview- The 1st one done for a Fansite!!
1. What're some of the most memorable moments of the tour? entered by Rachael
hmmm, in australia terry and i saw someone sort of get hit by a car...the circumstances we're extremely funny though:). In Japan john and i watched a japanese rap group perform, that was hilarious as well. The coolest thing i can think of at the moment has gotta be the african safari were we drove around in the african plains for a few days and saw pretty much every wild animal that you would expect to see in africa. Thats it for the moment, ill think up more stuff later:)
2 & 3. In recent concerts, you and Amy have done a back-to-back move in "The Only One".When did you decide to do this, and does it have any relevance?
before we went on amy turned to me and said something like "lets go back to back and rock tonight!" it was kind of a joke and we didnt really know we were gonna do it...i thought of doing it in the only one because thats one of the songs were its just her and I playing in the first part...and no theres no relevance we were just having fun.
Also, do you have any plans to play a concert in Ireland? Entered by Gary Keenan
arrggh thats a very frustrating one for me, we had a show scheduled in dublin but it was cancelled which bums me out since im from an irish family...and there's a pub in dublin called "McCord's" tavern that i wanted to see:(
4. whats the most frustrating part of songwriting? Entered by Jo
defintely being your own biggest enemy, ill write something and love it for a few days then one day re listen and decide it sucks ass...then erase it...sometimes you just never know if what you're writing is "good enough" until you get good feedback...
5. Why did you choose performing? What kind of feeling does it give you to be onstage? By JenSmart
playing music is just what i do...its all i really want to do with my life, i was in college and stuff when my first band got a record deal and hit the road and since then ive never looked back...being onstage is the best feeling ever, looking around at my friends/bandmates and creating the sounds that you're all hearing is very rewarding and well....fun...
6. What are some of your hobbies when you’re off stage?
mmmm, video games! and the occasional thrill sport like skydiving...socializing, pubbing, whole lots of whatever really...
7. If you could own any guitar, which one would it be?
i already own my dream guitars...i have 4 les paul customs from the 70's and a hollow body gretsch from the 50's that was given to me in my dad's will...and of course my 5 earnie ball sting ray basses are tha shizzznit...
8. What's the most important thing you learned in school?
how to cut class without getting caught...
9. Your MySpace page says you want kids someday, what would you name your sons and/or daughters?
if probably name my son after my father and brother...robert and matthew...and if i havnt thought of many good girl names yet:) of course whoever my queen is gonna be will have half of the naming rights...
10. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
id like to act, and perhaps try comedy...i seem to be pretty good at getting laughs outta people...
11. What is the best thing about being in a band?
well, besides the musical aspects and connecting with fans i really like the fact that its my job to see the entire world...ive been to every continet on planet earth besides antarctica...(rock bands probably dont play there much, id rock out for a bunch of penguins though)
12. What has been the biggest influence on your career?
my dad and brother, dad was an amazing guitar/piano/bass player and my brother is an amazing drummer...if it werent for them and growing up around all kinds of music i may not have chosen to be a musician...
13. From your perspective, what do you like least about the media industry at present?
ooohhh...almost everything, the quality of whats on tv and the radio has gotta be the absolute worst ive ever seen...in america you'll see a weight loss commercial followed by some new happy meal deal at mcdonald's...very conflicting messages there, and most radio stations play the same 20 songs over and over again...the media industry is too shallow for my liking...people who aren't so free thinking often think crap like "all you need is perfect hair to be successful" which is of course ridiculous but those kinds of messages are really all you see and hear on TV and the radio...there ARE great aspects of the media as well, just not as many:(
14. What is the most important lesson you learned along your path that you might not have learned if you'd taken another?
life is full of hard knocks, dont worry about things too much, dont get too serious, and dont expect much...if you remain calm and down to earth you'll probably come out ok. My life has been very full of ups and downs and at this point hardly anything REALLY bothers me...had i not chosen to be a musician i may be a banker or dentist or something much more stressfull...im glad i do what i do...of course:)
15. What's on your screen saver?
a picture of Al Swearengen from the HBO tv show "deadwood"...a great show, and of course is cancelled now...thanks media!
16. When you were five years old what did you want to be when you grew up? By JenSmart
a baseball player!
17. What is it like playing for a band that has inspired so many people?
very rewarding...i couldnt be happier.
18. How do you react when you get really deep letters, sharing experiences, or if you get a fan crying on you?
well the letters thing doesnt happen to me much, for evanescence im the bass player...people like amy get tons of those letters a day since she is the voice and face of the band. I DO get fans crying on me n stuff from time to time and usually i try to make em laugh or maybe even lower myself in their eyes...im just a person, all of us are JUST people...we may be in your favorite band but comon we were born human beings just like everyone else and should be treated the same as the next guy...but sometimes it is really funny:)
19. When you first Met The rest of Evanescence, were you "star struck?" and were you a fan of their music?
haha, read above:) No, I met them and talked to them just like i talk to anyone else...its probably one of the reasons i was picked for the band in the first place, i didnt make a big deal or fuss about anything, just sat there...said my piece then left. Yes i was a fan but i didnt own any of the records...i had heard all the singles on fallen and had heard the whole record a time or two and always appreciated it. When i heard CMWYS i kinda freaked out...i really really loved the new direction amy and terry's writing had taken and couldnt wait to hear the rest of the open door...which is very good in my opinion:)
20. Whats the best part about being in the band?
shows, fans, travel, seems like ive answered this one a time or two:)
21. Do you enjoy interacting with Fans? Entered by Myself ;)
of course i do! i think im the only one that posts for the fans online and well, im answering this questionaire arent i?:)
