About Me

Jennifer Jordan - American in Paris - (originally from Houston, Texas)looking for friends & contacts in the music biz.Jen was the lead singer and lyricist for the now defunct Mary Modified. She started out singing in the choir as a young girl then later sang back up for Feo Y Loco with her biological father. (Jen is adopted but met Jim, her bio-dad, by sheer coincidence at a party. It's a small world, ain't it?!) She then moved to Paris at age 23 and sang in a jazz-pop band called The Speak Easy until she moved on to record the dance tune "Take it Easy" which was signed with MCA Records under the name Cherry Moon. She recorded a second title "Everybody Get Down" with Joker Music which did quite well on the radio & in night clubs. But Jennifer wasn't satisfied with dance music and wanted to do something more personal. She met Viché de Vince & they immediately started collaborating on what was to become Mary Modified. One of their songs, "It Could Have Been Me," (produced by Jean-Patrick Capdevielle) was used as the theme song to the French mini-series La Ligne Noire. Jennifer also recorded a demo ("Mal de Chien") with Jean-Patrick that ended up on his last album. Mary Modified eventually split up and Jennifer is now looking for other oportunities in the music biz.And one day, when Jennifer finally gets her own computer, she'll add music to her myspace page! Until then, bear with her!
