Splitfaces always had a passion for music. After hearing hip hop for the first time in the early eighties he fell in love with everything the movement stood for. Splitfaces however, didn't realize he had a talent for writing and producing until many years later.His lyrics are based on factual stories and personal life experiences that draw the listener in with their brutal honesty and raw emotion. The beats are melodic and catchy and his live shows will have you on your feet from start to finish.After recording with different groups and producers he decided the only way to make his dream come true was to do it alone. He had written, produced and arranged three solo albums prior to getting his first big break.With the help and talent of producer Jea Street and renowned entertainment agent Eugene Foley, Splitfaces signed his first professional recording contract in 2004. That deal landed him local and national exposure in the media at retail and on radio stations coast-to-coast. After that deal expired, Splitfaces decided to become his own boss and start a production company called Looney Music, Inc.To date, Splitfaces has written and produced over 450 songs. The next chapter for this remarkable artist, performer and producer is about to unfold.
