Biog
At the age of 12, I joined the school choir, not long hereafter; I embraced music in a way I never thought would be possible. Discovered by a famous French singer “Collette Alliot Lugaz”, she soon introduced me to her teacher, who took me under her wings and taught me for the next 4 years, the foundation to my art. During this time, I developed a liking for playing guitar, which I learnt to play and a passion for dancing.Searching for new inspiration, I travelled to Japan and then San Francisco where I recorded materials with a producer/video j, Greg Wallace Avenue. Always driven by my devotion for my art I came to London to study Audio Engineering at SAE College.Struggle and passion compelled me to get involved in different projects such as being covered in black make up, wearing a black wig to be part of Diana Ross and the Supreme tribute band, after only having 3 days rehearsal, doing a 2 hour show where I hardly knew the songs. But the highlight of my early days in the music industry was to collaborate with “The Baldhead”. Not only did he increase my range by teaching me old school techniques but he also helped me to find my true voice. In 2004, I set my own label “Powersound”. My first single ‘Callin’ featuring Omnizien, was (released) distributed by Silvercord Music Group affiliated by THE.The track attracted the likes of Steve Suttenland, DJ Wylie from Galaxy FM, and Steve Wayne from Chat fm and many more. I’m looking at releasing my 2nd single ‘To a man, from a girl’ a Latino, reggae, pop track in July.
