I have left the UK for a better life and come to live in the sunny southern state of Puglia, Italy. I'm living in an ancient little town called Ostuni. It's beautiful. Perched on a hill overlooking the coast and surrounded by olive groves it fufils all my senses of the aestheticThe food is fantastic, the people are kind and generous and the weather is great. Life is far more affordable. There are no speed cameras, few traffic wardens, and a distict lack of road rage. People smile alot more. Oh and at lunchtime you get to go home for a nap which is far more civilised.We arrived at the begining of 2007. We plan to make Italy our home for the forseeable future.
