4 Musicians, Michael Sands, Catherine McLean (Sands). Paul Flynn and Stephen Leech, gathered together from all over the country, Down, Antrim, Armagh and Dublin. The band are lucky to also have been joined on stage by the likes of Gary Duffy, Paul Conlon, TomaÃ Taylor, Marie McLean and Alan Cunningham at different timesVarious influences and instruments giving a vibrant and energetic (except 1st thing in the mornin'!) traditional sound. Have played together on and off for about 11 years as well as tonnes of sessions and other musical adventures.Keep an eye out for the latest gathering, its always good craic. Band Members: Lucky to have played with (& married) Catherine Sands, Paul Flynn, Stephen Leech though I did not marry Paul or Stephen they were on the honeymoon! Craic!!
Influences: Mostly Guinness, Tennents and Irish Whisky and red wine and occassionally white wine. Then there'd be Harp too and Jaegermaester, perhaps when Flynn has been to France a wee drop of Cognac. Leech is partial to anything wet with a frothy head. Catherine has been known to tipple at Baileys and I enjoy all of the above with a Jameson chaser.
