About Me

“Southern Royalty”

consists of 3 members; Black, B-Rich & 1st Lady. All 3 members grew up together so naturally they present each other as brothers and sisters - Being blood brothers and sisters couldn’t make them any closer. Black & B-Rich were football stars in high school and were fortunate enough to make it to college and play for a major out of state university. Black is still currently finishing school and playing football out of state. B-Rich is residing back home in Miami, Fl along with sister, 1st Lady, who are both attending college while trying to pursue their careers. 1st Lady was a cheerleader in high school. She was captain/lead choreographer of her team. She has also choreographed other high school teams and dance teams outside of school. She has done numerous fashion shows and some modeling.
All 3 members bring a unique flavor and sound to the group. Just by taking one look at “Southern Royalty”, one can see that the group is unique on their own. Two young athletic males, one black and one Hispanic and a beautiful Hispanic young lady who can not only sing, but can dance, if not better, then just as good as any mainstream hip-hop artist who is hot right now. Reppin’ Miami, Fl to the fullest, they bring originality to their music and you can hear that they go well together as a group. Using catchy melodies and harmonization, “Southern Royalty” is a group who likes to make music in which the audience can relate to. One reason why people can relate to their music and feel their catchy hooks is because they do what most groups don’t do; they write their own music and write about real life situations.
Being a multicultural and diverse group they feel that they can bring their diversity as a group towards their music. “Southern Royalty” can be categorized as a Hip-Hop/R&B group. Although “Southern Royalty” is mainly categorized in that genre, they believe that the diversity in their group can be used in the way they deliver their music. Pop, dance, electronic, freestyle, hardcore rap/hip-hop and Latin music are other genres that they like to record as well. In other words, they like to describe their music as “Feel Good Music”. For being an amateur group who writes and produces their own music, they sound extremely well together and stand out of the crowd more than most Hip-Hop/R&B groups trying to make it in the music business today.
This group has had many experiences thus far. For the past two years “Southern Royalty” has been doing everything on their own. As mentioned earlier, “Southern Royalty” writes their own music and also records in the comfort of their own home. They have performed gigs in universities and in high schools. “Southern Royalty”, on occasion is the main event. In summer of 2007 “Southern Royalty” created a buzz and a fan base not only in Miami, FL but in other cities as well. In Chicago, a popular radio station called B96 FM was playing “Southern Royalty” on their radio station. The song they played was called “Kill the Crush” which is their first song ever recorded and aired.
With encouragement and support from friends, family and their fans, “Southern Royalty” not only believes in themselves but they know that in the right hands they can be dangerous and most of all successful in the music industry. “There is no other group out there that is like us; 2 guys and a girl... young AND talented… we are a humble family, not just friends”, “Southern Royalty” says. With this group, cameras must be rolling at all times because when all three members are in the same room, you’ll never know what will happen next. They are always putting on a show whether it is by imitating funny movie scenes or by imitating each other and pulling pranks.
Sooner or later the world will see what this group can do. With their diversity in mind, harmonization and catchy hooks, this group is ready to be creative, different and do new things outside of the box.
