About Me

Marie Liljedahl began her film career in Joe Sarno's Inga in 1968. She was only 17 years old, and Sarno had discovered her dancing with a Stockholm ballet company. Inga transformed her overnight into an international sex symbol. After her success in Sarno's picture, Marie's film career would prove to be short-lived. She accepted work in Germany on a pair of sexploitation programmers and took jobs in Italy and Yugoslavia as well. In 1970, she played the title role in Jess Franco's high-gloss confection, Eugenie: The Story of Her Journey into Perversion. By the time an offer to star in a sequel to Inga had come her way, Liljedahl was already growing disenchanted with the film industry. The Seduction of Inga would be her last major role.
