babyBoy (Joe Adante) grew up in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He went to an Adventist elementary school as a child but was not a Christian. He switched to a public school for his high school years and it was his senior year when he decided to give his life to God. By the grace of God He was baptized in March of 2001. In Canada, it was very rare to find anyone else who was doing Christian Rap. A friend of his went to Colorado and bought him a CD of a Christian artist who was devoted to nothing but loving God through his music. It renewed his faith and his passion to reach others through this gateway. April of 2005 he met up with Minister Fred II and volunteered his services for the “No More Dirty” Conference held in the city of New Orleans. While in New Orleans he also got to perform with Minister Fred II at a youth rally held at the Harvest Time Christian Center. Before he left New Orleans he was able to do his first recording as a Christian artist. In the past 2 years he has performed in and around Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and various southern states including Georgia, Florida and Louisiana. Concert halls, street corners, cafeterias, part of summer camp programs, conventions and youth rallies have all been venues that babyBoy has had the privilege of participating in. And by the grace of God he is able to make his way around North America with the Stric’ly Jesus family to spread the Word of God.BACK IN EDMONTON!!! SO HOLLLAA!!!
