About Me

Life's upheaval of change is almost bitter. When life offers you lemons and you stupidly try to make apple juice and end up with lemon pie I'll never understand. It's amazing the way things are thrown at you everyday, what you duck, what smacks you in the face, what you try to catch and miss, and what you actually catch, wow. This perspective now gained on the here, now, and later on pulsates almost. You feel it through you, around you, and beneath you. So yes good and bad my life is changing, hell this should be a blog, not a hey this is me, but right now it is me. Michael Cretu of Enigma once said, "Things are changing, but nothing changes, and still there are changes." Makes sense to me. Meditation makes sense, magick makes sense, storm clouds make sense, pain makes sense, love makes sense, hate make sense, I'm making sense.

Music:

Right now I'm dead set on Damien Rice, his music is changing me. Also I'm listening a lot to Stevie Wonder, lots of Motown and soul pre 1990. Also love Keane, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, most musical theatre, and like 10,000 other things. But above all I love Pink Floyd.

Movies:

Too many. I guess anything involved with Henson is good, i.e. Labyrinth. I also love horror movies and classic movies. Little Miss Sunshine is hilarious. And by far Shawshank Redemption is the best film ever made.

Television:

Ok right now I am into Heroes, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, and Weeds. I also like old stuff, like Ducktales, Transformers, The Muppets, Mr. Belvedere, etc.

Books:

Reading yet another Anita Blake book, damn they are good. Also lots and lots of comic books especially anything by Robert Kirkman, and Ultimate Spiderman is really awesome, anything from DC Comics. I also love Thomas Merton, Jack Kerouac, Herman Hesse, and Buddha.

Heroes:

Phil Allgeier, Sammy Wegent, Jason Meares, Aaron Linne, Superman, Green Lantern, sometimes my Dad, Kurt Vonnegut, John Belushi, Kermit the Frog, Jim Henson, Nat King Cole, Doris Day, Dr. Young, Brandi Walker, Nanci Hall, and last but not least, Redd Foxx!
