All the world is a stage.....

About Me

I am straight (to the point, I do not beat around the bush), funny and like to have a good time. I am in a relationship, but am open to meeting new people that I can get to know and become good friends with. I enjoy writing, reading and hanging out with my friends. If you are looking to meet someone who can brighten your day and make you laugh - that's me! :)

My Interests

reading, writing poetry, reading, playing games (Xbox/online), being with my kids, learning yoga now, working with computers, drawing, cooking, gardening, walking, camping, being with friends and family (Well when they aren't driving me nuts anyway! LOL!), listening to music, checking out my hunny's band (When they are out playing) and watching movies.

I'd like to meet:

Parents (mostly in the Denver area), other people who like to have fun in life. Life is to short to be some serious and srduous task - we can play with it and have fun and make life worth living! :)

Music:

Cranberries, Styx, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Incubus, Linkin Park, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, Queens of the stoneage, G Love, Bare Naked Ladies, Dave Matthews, Ween, Jimmy Eat World, Kelly Clarkson, Enya, Alanis Morrisette, Chery Poppin Daddies, 311, Def Leopard, AC/DC, Ozzie, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Gwen Stefani, Randy travis, Clint Black, Ra, Cold Play, Dirty Vegas, Spacehog, Bad Religion, Good Charlotte, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, NIN, AFI, Jimmy Buffet, Papa Roach, Greenday, Limp Bizkit, White Zombie, John Mayer, White Stripes, Matchbox 20, Ramones, System of a Down, Chevelles, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Eric Clapton, Evanescence, George Straight, Loreena McKennitt, Metallica, Sara Mclachlan, Sevendust, Blink 182, Weezer, Michael Jackson (earlier works), Weird Al Yankovic, King Missile, Mr. Bungle, and a ton more I am sure I am forgetting - you can see I like a lot of different kinds of music! :)

Movies:

Finding Nemo, What Dreams May Come, Ever After, Shakespere, XMen, Indiana Jones (all of them), Romancing the Stone, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (what a classic! lol), Seven, Star Trek, Star Wars (all of them), Big Trouble in Little China, Escape From NY, Mad Max (all of them), Gladiator, Something About Mary, Pulp Fiction, CHarlie and the Chocolate factory (Gene Wilder IS wonka!)

Television:

Seinfeld, Drew Carey, Frasier, Most Haunted, Dead Tennants, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Star Trek, Design on a dime, Monster House, Dirty Jobs, Going Tribal, Ghost Hunters, Trading Spaces, MXC, Simpsons, XFiles, Malcom in the Middle, That's so Raven (remember, I have kids). Whatever is on Discovery, The Learning Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, Court TV, Spike, Comedy Central are usually the first shows I will watch.

Books:

The list is too long to put here (You'd fall asleep from reading it). So I will say that I mostly read science fiction or fantasy fiction. (Gotta give that imagination something to do besides get me into trouble! lOL!)

Heroes:

My parents - it takes something to give it up each day and go out into the world to provide for your family. If it were not for them, I would not be here. The people who give their lives for our great country - if it were not for them (and their families) selflessly giving, we may not be able to enjoy the creature comforts we take for granted everyday. My kids - they get up each day to face whatever comes their way and still they hold excitement and love in the hearts. They inspire me to be who I am.

Knight in Shining Armor?

It was a lovely day as I headed home for my afternoon of calling seniors on the phone to see if they want to participate in a discount medical program.  (Yeah - that does not sound fun, does it?)...
