Born in Dakar, Senegal, from Cameroonian parents, Mylene Otou moved to Montreal at the age of six with her family. At the age of 8 , she started singing in her school choir and then discovered her talent and love for music. Since then, she developped many artistic skills and is now a versatile singer/songwriter who sings and writes in both English and French and who plays the guitar and the piano. Her artistic experiences includes winning awards for young artists and participating to various talent shows, singing backup for Cameroonian singer Muna Mingole and South African singer Lorraine Klaasen and collaborating in albums of hip-hop artists such as OL1KU, Pepito and Tolee. Inspired by artists like Celine Dion, Corneille, Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, Mylene is looking forward to start a career as a recording artist.
