Music has always been a positive influence for Jeremy Hoenig. This talented drummer has been studying and playing a wide variety of styles such as Funk, Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, and Latin-Afro-Cuban drumming since he was a teen.
Currently On tour throughout the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand with kiwi artist Billy Tk Jnr's album release tour. In between his busy touring schedule he resides and performs regularly around the San Francisco Bay Area with various artists. Previously he toured extensively with New Jersey Latin-Rockers deSoL opening for Los Lonely Boys, Widespread Panic, The Wailers, and a Tour of the Persian Gulf. Other notable venues include Madison Square Garden, Austin City Limits, The Latin Grammies, and FOX Morning shows across the country.
Influenced by the music of the 60’s and 70’s and gravitating towards Funk and Rock, he was inspired by Keith Moon of The Who to purchase his first drum kit at age 16.
Jeremy is an in-demand west coast session drummer. He has also been featured in both Drum and GIG magazines. Graduating from San Francisco State University with a Degree in Music and Philosophy furthering his musical education at the Drummers Collective in NYC, studying with master drummers Eddie Marshall, Wally Schnalle, Vince Cherico.
