Currently I'm a Performing Songwriter in Nashville.
I also play Guitars, Keyboards, Mandolin and Vocals in THE NILS LOFGREN BAND.
I have played with Bruce Springsteen, Jeffrey “Skunk” Baxter, Tony Trischka, Dave Hamburger, Pat Bergeson, Robert Lee Castleman, The Kennedys, Stacy Phillips, Mark Egan, The Nighthawks, Dobie Gray, Jesse Yawn, Johnsmith, Vance Gilbert, Kate Mcdonnell, Connie Francis, Steve Allen, Paul Reisler, Dory Previn, Leonard Bernstein, Katharine Hepburn, Maryann Redmond, Julie Sanderson, Kay Ballard.
I spent many years doing musical theatre as well which resulted in nominations in 1998 and 1999 for Helen Hayes Awards as Outstanding Musical Director Of A Resident Musical - For Productions Of "Hair" And "Kerouac" At The Studio Theater, Washington, DC.
In the 90's I was a full time Composer for Film, TV and Video writing for Fox Television Network – America's Most Wanted, PBS Television Network, President Bill Clinton and President George Bush.
I was the composer/arranger for three Off-Broadway Musicals in NYC.
I am the Author of 15 guitar instruction books/CDs published by Alfred Music/Workshop Arts.
For 10 seasons I was Head Teacher and Director of Resources at the National Guitar Workshop.
