About Me

I was born in Detroit Michigan and at the age of 5 I began dancing, and at the age 10 I began to sing. My father worked for Ford motor Company for years he saved enough money to purchase a new home in Inkster a small town outside of Detroit. I would enter dance contests and win. By the time I was 15 years old I picked up the Bass guitar and I would pratice until my finger's would bleed. In one year I was good enough to play with a band. At the age of 17 I started playing the piano. I took music in high school and flunk.... I hated it cause the music was boring. After I graduated high school I started writing songs and got my first real job working at the Rennasance Center in Detroit working as a dish washer for a restaraunt. Three years later I moved to Little Rock Arkansas to live with my grandmother. For two years was working odd jobs and playing with local bands I was finally tired. I left Little Rock and moved to Pasadena Ca. to pursue my music. I met a sign artist name Demetreious Perry who was signed with Tabu Records. They had artists such as the sos band, Sharelle, and Alexander Oneal. I met the President and we were promised a gospel group deal that never because the artist filed bankrupt and was black balled. My first work was a remix for the Radio station 92.0 the beat for Domino song called Ghetto. I worked with the DJ called Captain G and did other remixes.Later around 1988 I met a skinny kid in high school who was very talented I moved our studio to his house and we would write songs. Little did I know that this kid would become a star. His name is Jon B the artist and music producer. I started doing open mic at a club in Pasadena and I would do cover songs every week. I found out the Shanice's mom rented the club for the open mic. I met a songwriter named mookie that was a good friend of Shanice and heard some of my tracks and told me that Shanice would record them. I recorded a few tracks with Shanice and Did the remix for her first single called Somewhere. In 1996 I co produced Sonset for Rap artist Razz Cazz first album Soul on Ice and composed the music for the movie theme song for the movie Substute 2,My most recent credits is music for the trailor Jawanna Mann in 2003 Music for the Next top model 2006 MTV Blowin up, Date my mom and behind the scenes music for The Grid Iron Gang 2007Record Companies Worked with: Motown, Aftermath Interscope, Priority, Ruthless, Scotti Bros. and Sony RecordsArtist worked with: Shanice Wilson, Razz Cazz, Lil Zane, Jon B, Tevin Cambell, and Renaldo Rae.I thank GOD for all of the blessing that he has given me past and present.
