The first track here was recorded in a house studio in September 2004. The others were done using my digital recorder + keyboard.
i've been listening to music my entire life. some of my earliest memories include watching music videos on tv + loving them. i come from a very musical family, so it's basically in my blood. since i can remember, i've been singing + playing piano by ear. i can't read music very well, so i memorize everything i play. when i was 14, i started taking guitar lessons. it was honestly the best decision i've ever made. i learned SO much. + not just how to play guitar--i learned how to make demos, gained a sense of persistence to never give up, grew more confident with my abilities, got a little work experience + had a place to go every week to forget the stresses of daily life + focus on what i loved to do. it was an experience i'll never forget. now i'm recording more material + hope to have a real album made sometime in the future. having a touring band would be amazing, but it's very difficult to accomplish in this small area. hopefully it'll happen someday. but for now, i'm on my own.
it's actually very difficult for me to describe my genre/style. what i do is combine everything i love about music + fuse it together in my own ways. songs that are melodic, dark + ambient mixed with keys, synths, layered vocals, choir tones, reverbs, guitars + lyrics with unique themes all combined to produce a cinematic atmosphere. i would like to eventually create a heavier sound on certain songs once i get better recording equipment + give them more intensity. it's important for me to make all my tracks as unique as possible. i never want to make 2 songs that sound ridiculously alike.
