I'm an animal-lover... I especially like horses & dogs. I have a Siberian Husky (with a Spanish name... HAHA!), a Quarter Horse (which is retired), a TB/Clyde/Morgan filly (born 5/24/08), & a TB mare- the mother of the filly- that I am thinking I might keep. I enjoy training young horses & showing for fun. I will ALWAYS have horses.... they have been part of my life as far back as I can remember. I work for a CPA in McLean, & have a pet/house sitting business that I do well with when business is good. I will have my own farm someday, and I am NEVER owning a house in the city 10 feet from the neighbors!
glitter-graphics.comI'm an adrenaline junkie! I LOVE riding motorcycles. I have an '05 Honda CBR 600rr, & absolutely LOVE IT. I like the FD & EMS... but I don't currently volunteer. I like going to bars-clubs occasionally to go dancing, see my favorite bands or hit up some karaoke. I LOVE the beach, especially Key West & the Caribbean! (I SO want to go back to Jamaica one day!) I love traveling by air... take off is so fun... and I like trying to guess what is below me. ;) I go to Maine as often as I can to visit Cassie & Catie. I love snow skiing, and own a pair of skis. I try to go on a ski trip every year for my b-day. It's been a tradition since 2001, I think. I also enjoy scrap booking when I have time. Don't laugh, when I am in a creative mood they end up looking awesome! Hehe! I LOVE Sushi... when I have the money to splurge & someone to join me. :o) I like to have fun, just like everyone else.
glitter-graphics.comI am shy at first but warm up quickly. I'm pretty laid-back & down-to-earth... unless of course you piss me off. Guess that's one of the reasons they call me "Grumpy"! Haha! I tend to wear my emotions on my sleeve, and most of the time I won't hesitate to speak what is on my mind. Sometimes I say things I don't mean and regret it later.... one rule of thumb with me if I am mad is to just walk away and let me be. I will forget all about it if you just let me cool off. Which leads me to the point that I also forgive too easily- that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Rub me the wrong way and you WILL see the bitch side come out in me, I'm not going to lie. I can't help it, sorry! Therefore, my friends must have patience. Some of them do for a while and then decide to disappear, some come and go, and the rest should get a damn metal or something for putting up with my ass. Haha! Most of the time, though, I am being goofy & joking around.. My friends help bring it out of me. ;) I am pretty mature & independent... at least I try to be. We all have our moments right?! I have 4 piercings... no tattoos... and I thank Dr. Griffin for my awesome smile! LOL!
I love the outdoors. I love to hike, & do benefit walks (I do the March of Dimes 5mi walk in Airlie every year). I like jet skiing and boating but I don't have one of my own. I LOVE rock climbing, although I haven't been in YEARS! I love swimming, & laying out beside the water whether it be a pool, the lake, or the beach.
I love music.. especially singing it. You can find me at a karaoke bar occasionally, like I said earlier, or singing in the car. I like rock or country mostly... but I like anything I can sing to. ;o)
I like working out when I have time, and have a membership at Gold's in Warrenton/Culpeper.
glitter-graphics.comI have never been married or engaged, just lots of unsuccessful relationships that leave me wishing I could be as insensitive as men. :o(~ One thing I have learned in life: Love will make you believe anything- even the worst lies you KNOW are bullshit, so be careful with your heart. Even someone you spend a lot of time with and thought you knew could turn out to be a person you never knew at all. And most importantly, don't settle for less than anyone that loves you for you!!! You shouldn't have to change for a DAMN soul... so don't let anyone try to talk you down b/c someone out there will love you when you are a bitch (maybe not for the moment but they will still love you- haha!), when you have no makeup on, when you aren't a morning person... no matter what! They will be understanding of the way you are and the things you choose to do in life. If not, get out before it's too late... you won't be successful & you will risk losing a potentially good friend. :(
I don't cheat... so don't accuse me of it. If you aren't happy and don't trust a damn soul then don't get in a relationship until you can let go of your past! I have lots of male friends, and don't appreciate someone I'm dating trying to tell me I can't hang out with them. I have more guy friends than I do girl friends... so live with it or walk! That doesn't mean , however, that I am "something I'm not"... I just tend to have more in common with the guys I guess. I mean how many chics do you know that like to ride motorcycles, CAN ride a motorcycle, can out-shoot some men, don't thrive on shopping & brand name everything, doesn't get offended by "man talk", and has a mouth like a sailor occasionally? HAHA!
Oh, and one more thing to add to my reasoning for often times saying I will probably never get married... my parents are separated... can we say WHAT A FUCKING MESS?! Ugh! My mother is psychotic!!!! ARGH!...
