Ever since I was about 13 years old I longed to sing. When I was real young I played with my dolls and pretended to have a choir. Then at that age I knew I a connection with music. The Lord put a destiny in me to record a Cd and take the Gospel music that He had placed in me He wanted me to take it to the world. But although the vision and destiny that He had placed in me was there I did not know how to go about making the dream come true. so I sang in the choir and I remember singing in the choir and the power of God falling and I would cry because I knew that I was anointed and I wanted others to see that it was Him and not me. so many did not like me in church and in school because I was different. I tried to fit in but I found myself alone. at the age of 18 I got married to a preacher who is helping me be the woman God has called me to be. I began leading praise and worship, and later on I became the president of the praise team and choir. I now sing in a female group (Deliverance through Praise) and they are so awsome but I have yet to seek after and obtain that which God showed me when I was 13.Some one once told me that a person who is gifted with the gift of song is a person that has the gift to change the lives of people through lyrics and the sound of music. That is my vision my prayer my purpose and desire to change the unchangeable, reach the unreachable through the gift of song under the anointing of the power of the Holy Ghost! Loving people out of defeat and in to victory by embraceing them with the lyrics of the gospel of Jesus Christ. many things Ive learned growing in grace and one of them is this people dont care how much you know they want to know how much you care. Many musical artist have come and gone but I would love to know how many of them are concerned about the hearts of people or are they concerned about what people can do for there heart. This is true what I say to you, if you will take care of the people of God you have taken care of God and God will take care of you . For five years now I have been a praise and worship leader. and my hearts purpose is to lead the people of God into the presence of God that they may obtain that which is the heart and mind of Christ. But first I had to find out how to enter into the the presence of God because how could I take the people to a place were I had never been. Now every day I find myself in his presence not just for me but so that I may help and heal the hearts of those that are broken. Yes its true I love to sing I love to hear good singing but if there is no anointing it does not and will not move me because it does not move my Father God. for it is the anointing that will destroy the yoke and remove burdens.HOLYSPIRIT HELP ME EMPTY MYSELF OF ME SO THAT I MAY KNOW YOUR POWER, KNOW YOUR GLORY AND THE PRECIOUS ANOINTING OF YOUR SPIRIT!!(QUOTE FROM BENNY HINN) If we as gospel artsit can get this focus we will get better results in our lives. I love God with all my heart. Without Him I am nothing. Im not trying to be deep but I just find it easier trusting God.
