I would steal my fathers office note pads and his pens to draw him pictures while he was busy in his office answering phone calls and balanceing out his checkbook.
I grew up on the coast of Maine. Falling asleep to the fog horns in Rockland harbor is a fond memory. My strong love for the ocean lead me to the next best thing the lighhouse.
Having the time is sometimes an issue to paint new pictures but its also the frame of mind for it. I love the feeling you get after you struggled through a painting and then hours later see the results, remembering back to a white sheet of watercolor paper.... Hope you like it! I currently am a waitress at a Breakfast and Lunch restaurant with hopes of someday selling my art.
