Chas. A. Paynes-Songwriter

Chicago Born songwriter/ musician Chas A. Paynes has been blowing away the lucky listeners who have been priveleged enough to experience his music thus far.Heavily influenced by Prince, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles and Sly Stone (just to name a few); Chas discovered a deep passion and respect for the crafts of songwriting and composition.Taking a break from performing, he has dedicated himself to learning everything he can about songwriting and music business.Subsequently, Chas has been honing his skills by writing and recording for a handful of singers, poets and MCs.
