PUT YOUR ABOUT ME SECTION HERE On May 28th – 30th 2009, I’m hosting my second annual PRC conference here in Houston. I would like to check the availability for your beautiful church on those dates to possibly host this conference. If I’m not mistaken, this sanctuary holds over 1000 people, and that would be the perfect size and set up. It also exhibits the exact style that would appeal to all audiences. The following gives you details in regards this proposal.Vision: To bring restoration and revival to the body of Christ by exposing and breaking down the barriers of hidden segregation and walls of denominations. To bring all races together in one place, to worship together so that the church can be what God intended her to be when he first established it. When we as the body of Christ really come together and truly worship God on one accord as they did on the Day of Pentecost, I’m convinced that we will experience the signs and wonders in today’s time that we only read about in the bible.Purpose: While growing up, I was raised in the denomination of the PAW, which stands for Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. I was taught that if a woman wears make up or dress pants, they were not of God or in His will. I rarely saw any other race other than my own kind in the church, and when I did, I thought it was weird because it was so foreign to me. I always made fun of churches like Lakewood and Second Baptist because I was only accustomed to one style of praise, and one style worship. The way I was taught, the only type of music and preaching that was actually reaching God and was anointed was the traditional music and traditional preaching that only appealed to the black community. Anything other than that, I felt was fake and unnecessary. It was rock music in the church, however I never just sat down and paid attention to the profound lyrics in that music, that later changed my life. I heard different churches being classified by race, for example, a black church or a white church. As I began to grow in God and began to get a little older, I was blessed to be exposed to a larger platform and became curious of how different cultures worship and deliver the gospel of Christ. As I began paying more attention, it was literally like the time when Saul was on his way to Damascus to kill more and more Christians because he was raised to believe it was a heresy when Jesus suddenly revealed Himself to Saul and made him understand that the very thing he thought he was doing for the good of his religion was going against God’s will, I understood the importance of different races and backgrounds coming together and worshipping God. At first I didn’t understand how people were able to grow in the word with out someone presenting the style of preaching by screaming in tune. In regards to the word being delivered, I believe the church in a lot of the African American community that has unknowingly segregated themselves, are suffering from a lot of preaching and not enough teaching. I’m sure after all of the hype of screaming and just trying to make a sermon sound good, if you are to ask someone, what did they learn or how did they grow from what was preached, they can only tell you, at the least, the title of the sermon. In our church, mainly in America, we suffer from division, created by man made religion, segregation and self revelated principles that has been taught though out hundreds of years with out challenging those concepts and in result bringing about the true revelation from God. My purpose is to break those barriers in the church so that we as Christians will truly worship together without the concern of race, background, and denominations.Goal: God wants to bring about a revival to His church. My goal is to spread this message through out America as well as the world to bring change and order to God’s church. With in seven years, I plan to have had the conference in different states and regions as well as countries to allow the church to see how important it is to worship together with no limitations on God.
