Norwegian artist Tania Stene is an interdisiplinary arts. She works with different techniques such as oils/acrylics, photography, collage, video, sound and installation. Her art is often based on found objects, and so also with her audio output wich is very often created using found samples and prepared fragments of such. She considers herself an artist, not a musician, and has an artists approach to working with sound.
She works with sound-installations, experimental sound-collages and noise. Often limiting herself to work with very specific sound-sources for a choosen project or period of time.
She is active in an impov. shamanic sound/performance act called Ravn. She is also collaborating with the Russian electronica legend Alexei Borisov, a full-length album is ready for release and they are currently planning a tour in Russia.

She is for some well known for coverart & photo shoots for BM bands like Darkthrone, Thorns, Satyricon, Burzum, Emperor a.o. in the early 90s. Her next contribution to cover art will be for the upcoming Sunn O))) live album recorded in the historical cathedral in Bergen.
