Cross My Heart began as a vision of Pastor Jerry Frank, senior pastor of Christ Christian Fellowship in Torrance, California. Best known for penning the best-selling book The Jesus Diet (2 million copies and counting, USA Today best-sellers list for 19+ weeks), Pastor Jerry felt the Lord leading him to turn his book profits into something that would change the world for Christ. And what better outreach in this day and age than a Christian dance-pop band?Pastor Jerry - along with his wife Mitzy - set out to find the finest vocalists in America. He discovered two fantastic guys - Zak Crowner, a gifted tenor with white soul; Ty Raney, a great, enthusiast hype man. Cara Bosch was a discovery at Disney's Night of Joy in Orlando, where Pastor Jerry caught her performance as "Before Cinderella." Gloria - as most people know - had an esteemed solo career in the early to mid-90's. Ready for her own "second coming" of sorts, Gloria graciosly agreed to join Pastor Jerry's new band.They grouped in early '07 and have just released their first video and single about the Rapture -- "Snatched Up!" The band co-wrote the lyrics with sizzlin' mainstream songwriter Sharon Nyenhuis (Amy Grant's "Love is Never Forever") and composer Raymond Schnurr.
