Tunecrash was formed in Genoa, Italy in summer 2005, thanks to a musicmaster who wanted to create a pop/rock band and who was in contact with Valerio Avenoso (drums) who was just fifteen and Giulia Sarpero (vocals), picked out during a singing audition. In a few days Giulia recruited guitarist Edoardo Lanza, one of her bestfriends, and Valerio asked Gionata Damele (lead guitar), his friend for many years, to join the band which was taking form and was completed by the arrival of Matteo Spanò (bass). At the beginning the band included also a keyboard player which was laid aside when the band decided to change completely kind of music. The project of the musicmaster in fact consisted in creating an italian pop band and this wasn't what the guys really wanted for themselves; they started doing what they really wanted most: playng music inclined to crossover, post grunge and nu metal. The band was still nameless and when they had to pick out a name Killwinnie came up with a list that included Pinksocks&ties and something about Mushrooms. Then someone suggested Madgame for the band name by the way in the end Tunecrash was decided to be the name. The band's music is inspired by bands such as Breaking Benjamin, System Of A Down, Seether, Millencolin. They also take inspiration from other bands like the Nickelback, Evanescence, Stone Sour and Rise Against. In early 2007 Valerio starts writing with the rest of the band what now is the first single of Tunecrash: "Escape", an ironic and cynic track which is just an anticipation of the new material on which are working Valerio and Gionata.USEFUL - ACOUSTIC VERSION, live @ STASSEStasse Live with Tunecrash
