As a young man of 16, Jake went on stage for the first time at the Mojo blues jam in Copenhagen Denmark.
With him he was carrying his green Hamer Diablo guitar - his main at the time, and was the youngest player ever to get on stage there.
That guitar, and more so the color, earned him the nickname "Green" as people would still remember that green guitar years after he stopped using it, even if his name would elude them.
Many years later, Jake is still playing and singing the blues at every chance he gets, serving as a guitarist and lead singer in the band "Usual Suspects".
He also still attends every jam session he can get near, and is a long time regular at the Mojo blues jams on thursday nights at the Mojo Bluesbar.
His style of playing as well as his singing voice has matured over the years, delivering rugged and funky blues with a soul feel.
